Abstract

This article analyzes the use of artificial intelligence as a tool to support decision-making in business administration. The study discusses how data-driven systems contribute to reducing uncertainties, increasing operational efficiency, and strengthening the competitive capacity of organizations. The research adopts a bibliographic and qualitative approach, based on authors in administration, strategy, technology, and information systems. The results indicate that artificial intelligence does not replace the role of the manager, but expands their analytical capacity by transforming large volumes of data into useful information for planning, control, and performance evaluation. It concludes that the adoption of the technology requires integration between people, processes, and governance, especially in areas such as data quality, transparency, training, and ethics.
