This article aims to analyze field soccer as a pedagogical tool in Physical Education classes, highlighting its importance in the teaching-learning process. The research is characterized as a bibliographic review, of a qualitative and descriptive nature, carried out using books, scientific articles, and academic works available in databases such as Google Scholar, SciELO, and the CAPES Periodicals Portal. Studies published in recent years were considered, seeking to understand the contributions of soccer in the school context. The study shows that this sport contributes to the physical, motor, social, and cognitive development of students, in addition to favoring the construction of values such as respect, discipline, and teamwork. It is also observed that, when well planned and guided by the teacher, soccer can make classes more dynamic and meaningful. It is concluded that field soccer is an important pedagogical tool, contributing positively to the integral formation of students in the school environment.
