Refund Policy and Right of Withdrawal

Boletim de Conjuntura values transparency at every stage of its editorial workflow. Below, we outline the conditions for requesting refunds and the procedures for reimbursement of amounts paid:

1. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Code, authors have a period of seven (7) calendar days, counted from the date of payment of the submission or publication fee, to withdraw from the service and request a full refund of the amount paid, with no need for justification.

2. Conditions for Refund

Before Publication: A refund may be requested within the seven-day period, provided that the manuscript has not yet been published.

After Publication: Once the manuscript has been duly published on the journal’s website and indexers, the service is deemed to have been fully rendered. Due to operational, editorial, and digital maintenance costs already incurred to make the work publicly available, no refunds will be issued after publication of the content.

3. Reimbursement Procedures

If the refund request is approved, reimbursement will be carried out using the same method as the original payment:

• Credit Card: The refund will be requested from the financial operator used by the journal. The credit to the customer’s statement will depend exclusively on the processing times and policies of the card issuer (and may appear within up to two subsequent billing cycles).

• PIX: Reimbursement will be made via bank transfer originating from the Seven Company account (Banco Inter).

4. Processing Time

After the formal refund request by the author and its approval by the journal’s administration, Boletim de Conjuntura establishes a period of up to ten (10) business days to process the reimbursement with the financial institutions.

Important Notice for Authors

The refund request must be formally submitted to the journal’s service channel and accompanied by proof of payment and submission details.
