Abstract

This article analyzes how digital transformation has driven the evolution of contemporary business models, requiring organizations to reformulate their structures, operational logics, and mechanisms for generating and capturing value. Based on a qualitative and exploratory approach, grounded in a systematic review of scientific literature from 2021 to 2024, ten studies were selected that examine the direct and indirect impacts of digitalization on business models. The analysis was structured around four axes: pressures to evolve, mechanisms of change, organizational conditions, and impact measurement, enabling an understanding of digital transformation as a continuous process that demands dynamic capabilities, adaptive culture, and data-driven leadership. The findings indicate that digital transformation is not a one-time stage but a permanent strategic movement, whose effectiveness depends on the articulation between culture, technology, leadership, and performance indicators.
