GHOSTS RETROACTING: TEMPORAL RETENTION IN MINKOWSKI

This essay tries to explain in general terms Minkowski's notion of temporal retention. The title “ghosts retreating” expresses exactly the flow of the succinct and ephemeral temporal states of retention. The methodology is critical-reflective. We conclude that lived time for Minkowski, only becomes alive through the power of retention.
