This essay discusses some aspects of the television series "The Walking Dead", especially how the material conditions encountered by the surviving populations in the context of a zombie apocalypse impact the economic and social relations established by different groups. It is also intended to discuss how such relations are expressed politically, especially in the organization of institutions or even in rudimentary state forms. For this, we start from the analysis of the economic conditions of this post-apocalyptic society, either in the particularities of each group or in the more general organization of this society.
