In this essay, some theoretical elements presented in the work of Lenin and Trotsky have been discussed in order to allow us to understand political processes that took place in the 20th century. Some revolutionary processes are discussed and due illustrate both Lenin's party theory and Trotsky's permanent revolution. Bibliographic references have been used as well as some documents from political organizations.
