This article aims to analyze the interactions between globalization and internationalization strategies, highlighting the implications of these processes for companies from different sectors in a context of constant economic and technological transformations. The discussion addresses globalization and deglobalization as complementary phenomena, in which integration forces coexist with regionalization and reshoring practices, reshaping production chains and international trade. The methodology adopted was exploratory and qualitative, based on a literature review of recent publications, produced between 2021 and 2025, selected according to criteria of relevance, timeliness, and open access, which allowed the inclusion of both empirical studies and institutional analyses. The analysis revealed that firm internationalization is influenced by economic, cultural, technological, and logistical factors, and is directly impacted by digitalization and the growth of cross-border e-commerce, which expand brand reach and reconfigure business models. It is concluded that hybrid strategies, which combine traditional practices with digital tools, represent a promising alternative to sustain international competitiveness while supporting company adaptation to uncertain scenarios and to the growing demand for sustainable and inclusive business models.
