THE EVOLUTION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND THEIR IMPACT ON CORPORATE STRATEGY

This article analyzes the evolution of information technology and its influence on corporate strategic planning, investigating how the adoption of digital innovations impacts business competitiveness and sustainability. The objective is to understand how companies can integrate emerging technologies to maximize results and drive differentiation in the market. The methodology used is based on a literature review that examines the relationship between digitalization, strategic management, and the transformation of organizational models. Among the aspects discussed are the incorporation of artificial intelligence, Big Data, and automation in decision-making, the impact of cloud computing on operational flexibility, and the adoption of agile methodologies such as Lean and exponential management. The study concludes that integrating innovative technologies into corporate strategic planning is essential to strengthening business competitiveness and ensuring efficient adaptation to market changes.
