Abstract

This text discusses the book “Military Geopolitics and Geohistory: from the Amazon to Roraima” through a review whose central objective is to point out and identify the phenomena that have contributed to the processes of shaping the Amazon region from a geopolitical and geohistorical perspective in particular pointing to the elements and factors constituting the spatial production and organization of this region. Trough these contributions readers get able to glimpse through a prism of legitimation, emergence, territorial configuration as well as constituent elements of the current state of Roraima.
