In this essay, a brief trajectory of Human Sciences is discussed as a fundamental component for the consolidation of the State in the context of the Bourgeois Revolutions. Furthermore, it shows how this political process has affected the production of knowledge and the role played by critical theories in the sense of pointing to a possibility of overcoming concrete reality.
