ENVIRONMENTAL AND VOLUNTEER BEHAVIORS? VISITING THE RESEARCH ITINERARIES AND DESIGNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRACTICE ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOR FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Organizational citizenship behavior for the environment (OCBE) has proven to be an important strategic factor to ensure greater environmental and organizational performance. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the state of the art on the OCBE, with a view to presenting the current scenario of research based on the itineraries of international scientific production. In addition, through the identified gaps, a research agenda was designed. From a systematic review of the literature, carried out on the Web of Science, 30 studies returned, which constituted the sample corpus of the study. The results, analyzed using the R and RStudio software with the Bibliometrix package and the VOSviewer software, revealed the profile of studies in this field of research, how the conceptual structure is conceived, based on the bibliographic coupling analysis, and the intellectual structure, through of historiographical analysis. Furthermore, research opportunities were designed by the research gaps found. As far as we know, this is the first review carried out on the subject, which presents important contributions to the progressive advancement of the field based on the systematization of available knowledge.
