This booklet proposes the use of Brazilian cinema as a tool for critical reflection on the world of work, highlighting its relevance in understanding labor struggles, working conditions, and their impacts on workers’ physical and mental health. Based on the analysis of films such as ABC da Greve, Vidas Secas, Trabalhar Cansa, and Que Horas Ela Volta?, the booklet demonstrates how cinema functions as a social mirror and a tool for raising awareness. The booklet also provides guidance for workers on recognizing work-related psychological suffering and presents practical ways to address it, such as seeking union support, accessing healthcare services, and obtaining legal assistance. In this way, it aims to promote a critical understanding of labor realities and encourage the defense of workers’ rights and dignity.
