Digital disinformation has emerged as a systemic destabilizing factor in public administration, undermining legitimacy, transparency, and the effectiveness of managerial models. This study analyzes the impacts of digital disinformation on public management in Minas Gerais, investigating how informational manipulation erodes institutional trust and compromises evidence-based policies. Using a theoretical-deductive, descriptive, and documentary approach, the research conducted content analysis of institutional documents, reports, and scientific literature from national and international sources. The findings indicate that disinformation functions as a driver of accountability erosion, hinders social adherence, and reduces administrative effectiveness. The SWOT analysis revealed vulnerabilities related to reactive communication, low digital literacy, and political polarization. It concludes that strengthening democratic governance in Minas Gerais requires multifaceted strategies centered on media literacy, translucent communication, and ethical regulation of digital platforms. The study contributes to the theoretical and empirical advancement of informational governance and institutional resilience in federative contexts.
