The objective of the present study is to analyze the quality of life and sleep among women aged 45 to 59, aiming to understand the challenges faced by this age group. The specific objective is to characterize the participants. This is a quantitative, cross-sectional study, based on a theoretical-deductive method. Data was collected between December 2024 and March 2025 through an electronic questionnaire. Participants were selected intentionally, using a non-probabilistic sampling method, and responded to questions on sociodemographic characteristics, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), and the EUROHIS-QOL 8-Item Index. Data was analyzed statistically and descriptively. The sample consisted of 49 women aged 45 to 59, most of whom were married (79.6%), had a postgraduate degree (49%), had children (89.9%), and were already in menopause (63.3%). Overall quality of life levels were high (55.1%), except for income, which remained at unsatisfactory levels (53.1%). According to the PSQI, 36.7% of participants were classified as having poor sleep quality, and 24.5% presented sleep disorders. It can be concluded that middle-aged women face multiple social, psychological, and hormonal challenges, with sleep quality being particularly affected by these factors. Quality of life levels remain generally high, except for income, which participants perceive as insufficient to meet their personal needs. The present research highlights the need for multiprofessional health support for this age group to address adverse symptoms related to menopause and sleep.
