The research on screen focuses on the difficulties faced by teachers, during the Covid-19 pandemic, with regard to mental health, as the period triggered different disorders. The objective of this study is to analyze the challenges faced by teachers, with the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, the relationship between digital technologies and learning, as well as the impact of work overload on teaching performance and mental health. In methodological terms, we carried out qualitative and exploratory research, with the bibliographic review as the main instrument. The analysis is established through the use of Atlas.ti software and Content Analysis, with the construction of indicators that highlight challenges and opportunities in working with teachers' mental health during and after the pandemic. Given the execution of the research, our results show that adjustments in teaching work did not promote equity and actions aimed at mental health. Due to the lack of adequate mechanisms for creating quality access to digital media, teaching hours were doubled, decontextualizing the productivity and effectiveness of work. In conclusion, working conditions during the pandemic were affected by emotional, organizational and contextual characteristics, impacting illness at work in the personal, social and institutional spheres. As a result, the post-pandemic period must be subsidized with actions to combat illness and professional exhaustion, in addition to the (re)structuring of working and reception conditions.
