This essay is about social responsibility in the face of the demands of living together in society in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The essay points out the need to foster actions that promote critical sense and minimize the fake news that alarms the population to discredit science, thus seeking to point out the role of empirical knowledge to articulate the reflections on the knowledge it already has to the new, in a permanent process that favors the critical apprehension of reality.
