Important Notice

We inform the academic community that, as of December 9, 2025, the journal Revista Boletim de Conjuntura (BOCA) will be edited by Seven Publications Company.

Please note that, in the event of acceptance of submitted articles, a publication fee of R$ 1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred Brazilian reais) will be charged.

Information

To ensure a proper submission, authors must verify that their manuscripts meet the criteria below. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned for corrections before being evaluated:

Originality:
Authors must ensure that the article is original, unpublished, and not under simultaneous evaluation by another journal.

Submission Format:
Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word or RTF format, with a maximum file size of 3 MB.

References:
Whenever possible, URLs or digital identifiers (DOIs) should be included for all cited references to facilitate source verification.

These guidelines are essential to ensure that articles are properly prepared for the evaluation process and potential publication in the journal.

Formatting and Article Preparation Guidelines

The journal requires that submitted manuscripts be original and unpublished, having not been previously published in other journals. Articles previously presented at scientific events may be accepted, provided that this information is duly disclosed by the authors at the time of submission.

Formatting guidelines are as follows:

  • Articles must have a maximum of 25 pages and may include up to 8 authors.

  • Use Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 line spacing throughout the text.

  • Figures, tables, and charts must be integrated into the text, using font size 10 for their content. The title must appear above the graphic element, and the caption below it.

  • Article titles must be presented in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, at the beginning of the document, using font size 14.

  • Abstracts and keywords must be placed immediately below the titles, with single spacing.

  • Files submitted for review must not contain any author identification, ensuring a double-blind peer review process.

Conditions for Submission

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

  • This submission complies with the requirements described in the Author Guidelines.

  • This submission has not been previously published and is not under evaluation by another journal.

  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.

  • All tables and figures have been properly numbered and identified.

  • Authorization has been obtained to publish all images, datasets, and any other materials provided with this submission.
