Peer Review
Articles submitted to the Boletim de Conjuntura Journal (BOCA) are forwarded for evaluation by two reviewers, who issue opinions regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript for publication. In the event of divergent reviews, a third reviewer is appointed to carry out a tie-breaking evaluation.
The journal adopts a double-blind peer review system, in which reviewers do not have access to the authors’ identities, and authors do not know the identities of the reviewers. This procedure aims to ensure an impartial and unbiased evaluation.
After the issuance of the reviews, approved articles are returned to the authors so that they may carry out the modifications and adjustments suggested or required by the reviewers. The deadline for submitting the revised version is fifteen (15) days, and the new file must be submitted through the same platform.
Once the revisions are returned and accepted, the article enters the publication queue for inclusion in one of the journal’s volumes.
